Mad March

"Mad March" was the front page headline of one of the evening newspapers last week. Yes, weather wise, it has been extremely mad! Earlier in the month, it seemed like spring came early, beautiful sunlight + warmth for more than a day! lol... but then a few days later, heavy snow was upon us. I remember a day when there was sunlight + rain + hailstones + snow ALL in one day, just crayy... but then again it wouldn't be Britain if the weather was normal. So I'll just soldier it and endure till maybe... I relocate to a perfect weather city. Where will that be you ask; that's not for me to decide, ask my oga at the top! dazall (lool private joke with my fellow Nigerians, if you want in, just google "oga at the top"). So on one of the sunny sundays, I wore a wool stripy midi length dress that I made. I realised later that the dress would be more ideal for the colder days, with tights on of course. I'd like to take time to thank my sis who is EVER willing & patient enough to help take my pictures :D( lol ok maybe not always but hoping this helps :p) & my friend Tayo who lets me use his camera occasionally (P.S if you need to hire any photography/videography gear, he has some pretty cool stuff, just ask me :) )

The Yellow Series #3

"All things bright and beautiful..." yea you all know how the song goes. It's the perfect soundtrack to this post, as I bring you beautiful scenery, a beautiful girl and of course a beautiful dress! lol

Everyone meet Ms Yinka Adebayo, one of my favourite girlies and most defo one of my favourite bodies to work with. As annoying as she can be, we kinda make the perfect match in that I really do appreciate my work when she's wearing it. It's nearly always perfect fit each time. During the summer, she asked me to make a few dresses for her travels to the US as she had a few weddings to attend. This yellow dress was one of them. I decided to stray away from the usual body con that she likes. I used some black lace detail to enrich the dress. According to her, it was a hit amongst the wedding guests! :) As usual, I wasn't able to get pics from the day, hence we did a lil photoshoot after church one sunday. I hope you like it too.

This cute little dog named Olivia, came along with its owner as we were shooting and decided to be in it. I don't do dogs AT ALL, as a matter of fact, I don't do animals in general! lol but I managed to stay sane throughout this session making sure I kept my distance.

The Yellow Series #2

Hey Sweeties, so sorry for the delay in bringing you part 2 of this series. Reason is because I wanted to show them in the order that they were created but it's been a challenge trying to get photos of the 2nd creation from this beautiful yellow fabric. Therefore, here is outfit number 3.

I worked on this creation late one saturday night/early hours of sunday to wear to church. However, when I finished it, I just didn't want to wear it anymore. My sister convinced me to. Glad i did, as it was soo very well received, everyone seemed to like it. I also got a few orders for the same dress! Glorayy! lol. I was rocking my short 'fro and some pearls.
