12 Days of Christmas - Day 4

On the fourth day of Christmas, WF brings to you... 4 variations of dresses for a bridal party.

Last year May, I had the privilege of styling an entire bridal party for the first time. It was really exciting for me and I can't believe it's taken this long to share with you. I had to create different styles for the Maid of Honour, Bridesmaids, Flower girls and the Little Bride. It's amazing to see how the different styles turned out even with the same fabric.

The Little Bride: Ivory Lace bodice with nude tulle dress.

The Flower Girls: Nude brown satin dress with ivory lace band and bow tie sash at the back.

The Bridesmaids: Classic Tulip dress with ivory lace bodice and nude brown satin skirt.

The Maid of Honor: Ivory lace bodice with nude brown fishtail skirt and front sash.

On the third day of Christmas, WF brings to you, three white dresses. Well two white dresses worn by my lil sis and big sis; and one ivory dress worn by one of my muses. It's the season of whites so get inspired by any of these :)

12 Days of Christmas - Day 2

"For unto us a child is born..." nativity play going on inside my head as I type lol. On this Second day of Christmas, I give you 2 that have become 1! Back in July, I had the opportunity to design a stylish maternity wear for a newly wed who was celebrating her 1st wedding anniversary.

Shamillah has a very classic style which I relate with very much. I opted for a pale blue lace with nude underlay. Looking back, I realise the blue was a great choice as she delivered a baby boy :) Her husband Gideon is famous for his bowties; so it was a no brainer for me to opt for this as the perfect accessory. I love the subtle compliment of colours.

Prom Tales 2014 - Part 3

The most wonderful time of the year is here again, yes it's Christmas! It's the season of giving and to make up for all the months I haven't posted, I'll be giving you a different post every day for the next 12 days leading up to Christmas :)

This first day of Christmas, I give to you the final part of this year's series of Prom Tales. Zainab has the perfect bod for this champagne gold mermaid cowl back dress. I love the lace accents on the shoulders and at the back. She rightly styled it with a pair of black gloves giving it a vintage feel.
